This past April I traveled back to New York after a year away. When I landed at Laguardia, I purchased an unlimited 7 day MTA card and caught the Q70 to Broadway and Roosevelt. With only a purse and my camera, I hopped on the E Train to head into the city. My first stop was the World Trade Center. From there, I ventured out into what used to my reality. From catching up with my friends, shooting clients, visiting my peeps at the New York Film Academy and being a plus one at an event, I realized how much New York used to wear me out. I'm super stoked about not forgetting my directions, getting over 30,000 steps in, and eating my old favorite Halal food. My only regret was not making it up to the Bronx to get some authentic Dominican food. Next time!
