Who knew the coronavirus would be declared a pandemic on one of the nights we were chilling in our hotel room enjoying room service. We received mad messages from our family back home about the travel ban and we understood the risk we were taking by staying there, but we love taking risks.
This was one of the best trips I’ve been on. I had dinner 164 feet in the air, spent a day at Al Awir desert, and got lost in a miracle garden. I fell more in love with the Middle East during my stay. The people are some of the realist people I’ve ever met. They take chances. They hustle. They’re smart asf.
All jokes aside, we were extremely careful and smart while in Dubai. We were able to catch the last flight to LA through Swiss Airline on the morning of the travel ban.
